$5,000-$10,000
The purpose of these grants is to support the strategic plan of the institution and promote farsighted, innovative or visionary projects. Pioneering grants can be used for equipment.
The President of the College makes funds available to support development and innovation at CSI. Pioneering Grants are up to $10,000. The total amount available is generally around $50,000 per year (availability of funds varies from year to year).
Due date for the Pioneering Grants is November 15.
Due to the economic downturn and resulting holdbacks no Pioneering Grant funds will be available for FY 2009.
The Process for making application is to contact Dr. Edit Szanto, Vice President of Student Services, Planning and Grant Development. If funds are available, the applicant will be asked to complete and submit the CSI Common Grant Application form to the Office of Institutional Planning and Grants Development.
